Trust The Journey, Even When The Path Is Unclear

This message popped into my Facebook feed one recent night. It seemed like the universe was speaking to my heart.

"If you're feeling frightened about what comes next, don't be. Embrace the uncertainty. Allow it to lead you places. Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path towards happiness, don't waste time with regret. Spin wildly into your next action. Enjoy the present, each moment, as it comes; because you'll never get another one quite like it. And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over. Retrace your steps and go back to the purest place in your heart… where your hope lives. You'll find your way again." ~ Gilmore Girls

The message was posted on a site called trustyourjourney.com. That site was set up by two women who'd each gone through difficult times and come out of them with wisdom. They blog about their lives at www.trustyourjourney.com.

When you come to that "and now what?" moment — trust that you are on the right path. And ponder how you've gotten as far as you have and what specifics you might need to move your project or journey ahead.

Typically, by breaking tasks down into small steps, it propels a project or idea or goal forward.

And yes, starting over, tossing out something that didn't work, is ok. It is. A hopeful drawing board can help you to recreate even better ideas as you move ahead.
