Give to others, Love yourself, Own your potential - GLO!
Spring is expansive. The weather changes, the sun is brighter, moods lighten and styles shift.
So it's a perfect time share some of our fave things for the season.
What's moving you this spring, fun seekers? Here's our latest list (although it grows nearly every day.)
We had a wonderful time in Los Angeles, participating in Academy Awards events and spreading our message of empowerment. The city was awash in glamour with parties all over town as film, television, music and sports stars came out to celebrate the Oscars.
Amid the splash and buzz, we learned some lessons of our own. Chiefly, the power of staying in the moment even when you don't know where the universe is going to lead. And of staying open to possibilities and welcoming what was to come.
We're headed off to Hollywood for events honoring the Academy Awards. As film fans, we love the Oscars, and as fashion fans, we'll be glued to all that is happening on the red carpet. Year after year, seeing our biggest stars in the most fabulous frocks never gets old!
One of my esteemed Facebook friends (that I've never met), the amazing author and creative spirit Kevin Sessums, admitted in a recent post a rather negative mindset that keeps knocking on his heart from time to time: compare and despair. Even as he is mega-accomplished — a truly special person — that old voice keeps creeping in, he confessed, noting as an author, it's hard not to compare your own success to others.
We'll do this once every three months to take stock of where we are going as a company and to refocus our hearts on our mission of empowering women to step out of their comfort zones to become the best they can be.
"I decided that the world of work is not conducive to joy-- and so I became a dreamer of dreams that come true. I'm much happier now," it read.
